Wall Anchor Systems - Wall Stabilization in Iowa, Illinois and Missouri

Cracking, bowing, and leaning basement walls can be scary, and can leave a homeowner concerned about the structural integrity of their home. How to fix it is an entirely different problem. A foundation repair solution is necessary, but what is the best method?

Some homeowners think a total wall replacement may be necessary, not realizing how costly, disruptive, and messy this solution can be. Even worse, the problem is likely to happen again. Other solutions take up valuable space in the basement and offer no opportunity to straighten the wall over time.

The Foundation Supportworks' Wall Anchor System uses durable galvanized steel wall plates and earth anchors, sometimes called screw anchors, that are connected by a high-strength steel rod to permanently stabilize basement or foundation walls. The FSI wall anchor system stabilizes a foundation wall and also offers an opportunity to straighten it over time, restoring structural integrity to a home.

Installation of this Wall Anchor system requires minimal disruption to landscaping and can be installed to avoid decks, patios and sidewalks. Installations can be performed year round and are often completed within one day.

The installation process starts with a hole being carefully augured into the soil away from your foundation. A steel rod is drilled through a small hole in your basement wall and is connected to an earth anchor, or screw anchor, plate seated deep within the augured hole. A low-profile wall plate placed on the interior of your basement wall is secured to the rod. The augured hole is backfilled and sod is carefully replaced. Once all components of the Foundation Supportworks' Wall Anchor System are connected and tightened, your basement wall is permanently stabilized.

Now you can rest easy knowing your basement wall is safe and stable. The low-profile wall plate allows you to easily finish your basement walls, completely covering the wall plate for a look that is neat and clean.
