Sump Pumps - Line of Defense Against Basement Flooding

What good is a space if it gets wet? A sump pump is your main line of defense against basement flooding. At Bix Basement Systems, we install only the best sump pump systems available anywhere in the Illinois, Iowa, and Missouri area.

Each of our sump pump systems include the following:

WaterWatch® Alarm: When water reaches its over flow and the sump pump has not turned on yet, this alarm will sound.

SuperLiner Sump Liner: This is a liner that will help the sump pump with not over working. The liner goes down deep enough to keep it working, but not so it is over pumping and pump out unneeded water.

Airtight Sump Lid: The airtight lid will keep debris out of the sump pump while sealing in the humidity and odor that can occur within the sump pump. To keep the sump pump running quietly and to keep the lid airtight there are rubber grommets around the pipes and wires.

CleanPump Stands: It is important to keep silt or sediment away from the sump pump. To do this the stands will raise the sump pump off the liner and it allows for adjustment of height that maybe necessary for the sump pump.

At Bix Basement Systems, we offer two different sump pump systems: the TripleSafe™ and SuperSump®.

Triple Safe logo
Set at the lowest level for normal functioning, the TripleSafe™ has a Zoeller® ⅓ horsepower sump pump that is cast-iron. A second Zoeller® ½ horsepower sump pump will take over if there is failure with the first sump pump or if there is heavy volumes of water. This second pump is set a bit hight in the liner. Our UltraSump® battery backup sump pump can pump 11,500 gallons of water when set at the highest level; if working on a fully charged battery is could pump more. This is a great safety net in case of a power outage. These features make the TripleSafe™ Sump Pump System our most reliable sump pump system. Providing you a peace of mind with three levels of protection for your basement.

Super Sump logo
This Zoeller® ⅓ horsepower cast-iron sump pump is capable of pumping 2,500 gallons of water out of your basement per hour. Our SuperSump® Premier Pump System is an effective and more economical solution to help keep the basement dry. There is an optional UltraSump® Battery Backup Sump Pump that can pump out 11,500 gallons, to be installed with the SuperSump® Premier Pump System.
